A monthly milestone blanket is a specially-designed baby blanket printed with numbers (usually 1-12) and often the words months, Baby, First Year, etc. Parents lay the baby on the blanket each month (or at chosen intervals) and mark the number of months old the baby is, then take a photo this gives a series of photos showing the baby’s growth over the first year.
